Statewide Network Support
The Network Support Team ensures our statewide network of Local Affiliates, and our own Direct Service staff maintain best practices for nonprofits and follow the CIS Model with fidelity. The team supports CIS Affiliates at all levels through training and coaching assisting the Board of Directors, Executive Directors, Program Directors, and Student Support staff to create strong and sustainable organizations operating with the highest impact for students served.
Core Functions of the State Office Network Support Team:
- Training and technical assistance – lead by influence, not authority, for program staff, administration, and leadership, including boards
- State network management and development
- Data collection, management, and reporting
- Statewide partnerships and resource development
- Statewide advocacy and productive government relationships
- Marketing and communications
We build relationships community by community, school by school, and student by student. Our most important resource is our network of 17 independently operated affiliates in communities across the state of North Carolina.
