For over 35 years, Communities In Schools has supported thousands of North Carolina students in achieving their goals in school, succeeding in the workforce, and thriving in life.

At Communities In Schools of North Carolina (CISNC), we are making a difference with students of all grade levels in schools across the state.  We help students during their school journey so they are one step closer to walking across the graduation stage.  Ultimately we work in concert with our local affiliates, remove barriers to education, provide on-site student support, connect community resources to families in need and prepare students to enter the workforce or college. 

In the past year, we served students in 249 schools across the state. We empower schools and students by increasing student attendance, improving pro-social behaviors, supporting academic achievement, reducing drop-out rates and increasing on-time graduation.
